IDEA Personalized Pathways

At IDEA, our central Learning Lens is Industrial Design, Engineering, and Art. This overarching theme grounds our thematic approach to learning.

The learning lens manifests in four Practical Domains: Engineering & Applied Sciences, Product Development & Fabrication, Computing & Digital Technologies, and Communication & Experience Design.

Within these domains are Spotlight Sequences; specific progressions of coursework that allow students to explore particular topics of interest in increasing depth.

By integrating learning from across domains and developing competencies through expansion packs (coming soon), students build a Personalized Pathway unique to their passions, interests, and post-high school aspirations.

The image is a colorful circular diagram depicting various learning lenses and their interconnections, including Sustainability, Human-Centered Design, Industry Enrichment, Math for Makers, Contextual Writing, and Entrepreneurship & Leadership, among others.
