Students can apply to participate in Student Government Day
Tacoma Public Schools students in grades 9-12 are invited to attend Student Government Day on Oct. 21. Students will spend the day at Tacoma City Hall and other municipal buildings learning more about their local government and policymaking.
This is an opportunity to learn more about the policy-making processes and operations of municipal government through tours, meetings with staff and elected officials, and participation in a mock city council meeting. Tacoma Public Schools will provide transportation to this event.
