Our goal is to empower every student NOW, with the knowledge, experience, and guidance needed to achieve their goals. Through a variety of opportunities including courses, internships, career interest assessments, college-level coursework, industry-recognized certifications, and diverse extracurricular activities, students can explore their interests and develop the skills necessary to formulate a personalized plan.

Career Exploration & Preparation

Career exploration is the process of learning about yourself and the world of work to make informed decisions about your future. It involves identifying your interests, strengths, and values, and then matching them with potential career paths. Through career and technical education courses, internships, and certificate programs students gain hands-on experience and can earn industry-recognized credentials – preparing them for their future careers.

Graduation Requirements

High School & Beyond Planning

The High School and Beyond Plan is a Washington State graduation requirement and helps students get the most out of high school while preparing for their future. Students work with career guidance specialists, school counselors, and teachers starting in middle school to create their own personalized plan with goals for high school and beyond.

Whether that means pursuing a four-year degree, earning a professional certificate, undergoing military training, starting an apprenticeship or going directly into the workforce, we are dedicated to helping them follow their unique interests and aspirations.
